Except where specifically stated, prices are inclusive of delivery to mainland UK only. However we welcome enquiries from elsewhere, and you can contact us by email, letter or telephone for onward shipping costs to other locations.
Most orders take a maximum of 7 working days to arrive. If your order is likely to take longer than 7 days, we’ll always make sure to let you know in advance.
If you have a specific deadline in mind, please let our team know when you come to order, and we’ll see what we can do to meet this. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee to meet every individual deadline, and we are not liable for any third party costs incurred.
Our deliveries in the UK mainland are contracted to outside carriers who deliver from Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) between the hours of 9am and 5.30pm.
A premium Saturday 9.00am to Noon delivery is available, at an additional charge of £16 (plus VAT) per delivery. If you require this service, it must be specified at the time of ordering. Evening and Sunday deliveries are not available.
When your order is complete, you will receive a text from DPD advising of the day of delivery. On the delivery day, you will receive another text advising you of the time slot in which you can expect your package, allowing you to re-arrange delivery should the specified time slot not be convenient.
All deliveries must be signed for, and you should keep your receipt. If any goods show obvious signs of damage in transit, please refuse to accept the delivery.
DPD will bring the parcel to your delivery address, or will leave it with a neighbour if you are not at home. If delivery is not possible they will return your parcel to the depot.
In addition to your statutory rights, we are pleased to offer a no-quibble refund/cancellation policy on garments which have not been embroidered or printed.
Should your plain (non-embroidered or printed) purchase disappoint in any way, you may normally cancel your purchase, provided that you notify us before the delivery, or within 7 days afterwards. Your product must be complete, unused and in 'as new' condition. This means that if you have opened the box to examine your delivery, you must have done so without damaging or marking the product in any way. It should be returned with the original box, packing and accessories.
Customised goods (embroidered or printed) are exempt from the 7-day right to return and are non-returnable except for genuine defects. Please let us know as soon as possible if you are not happy with your order, and once the garments are returned to us, we will send replacements within 10 working days.
Plain samples must be returned within 2 weeks to be eligible for a refund. Delivery charges are non-refundable. Garments must be in the same 'as new' unworn condition.
We thoroughly examine all goods in detail prior to despatch to ensure that they leave our warehouse in perfect condition. However, transit damage unfortunately can occur. If your purchase shows obvious signs of transit damage upon delivery, please refuse to accept delivery and notify us immediately. If damage is only evident upon opening of the packaging, then you must inform us within 48 hours of receipt. In either case, we will then arrange re-delivery of replacement goods as soon as possible.
Goods are fully guaranteed against faults in manufacture, materials or workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of delivery. No warranty is made in respect of commercial rather than domestic use. If your goods develop a fault within 28 days of delivery, the goods may be returned for either a replacement, or refund in full.
Replacement is only available after 28 days and before 12 months have elapsed. These promises do not apply to faults caused by accident, neglect or misuse.
Sales on this web site are governed by English law and you agree to submit any dispute to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. All orders are subject to these terms and conditions and no amendments will be accepted by us. These terms and conditions do not affect your legal rights. These Terms and Conditions only cover the City Workwear website. Any other web sites to which you link from this site may be governed by their own terms and conditions. We accept no responsibility or liability for the content of websites which are not under our control.
We are required by law to tell you that sales can be concluded in English only and that we do not file copies of customer contracts.
