Hi vis classes explained (EN ISO 20471)
EN ISO 20471 is the standard for high visibility clothing. It has three classes, based on how much fluorescent and reflective material a garment has. Class 1 has the least and Class 3 has the most. A higher class is not better for every job, because the right one depends on your risk assessment and your site's rules.
Class 1 is the lowest level, used where traffic is slow or kept apart from people on foot. Class 2 is a step up and is often chosen where workers are closer to moving traffic, for example roadside and delivery work. Class 3 is the highest level. These garments have sleeves, or are worn as a jacket and trousers set, and are used where people work close to fast traffic.

What is personalised hi vis workwear?
Personalised hi vis workwear, also called custom hi vis clothing, is high visibility clothing with your company name or logo added by embroidery or print.
Can I get hi vis clothing printed or embroidered with my logo?
Yes. We offer both. You approve a PDF proof before production. Every bundle includes free logo embroidery or print in one position on all garments. For single garments the price depends on the quantity and the method, and it is shown on each product page.
Are your hi vis garments EN ISO 20471 certified?
Many of our hi vis garments are certified, and the class is shown on the product page where it applies. Check each product page for the standards a garment meets, and ask us if you are not sure which one you need.
How do I choose the right EN ISO 20471 class?
It depends on where and how your team works. Class 1 is the lowest level, Class 2 suits work closer to moving traffic, and Class 3 is the highest. Follow your risk assessment and your site's rules.

How long does delivery take?
Turnaround is 5 to 7 working days from the date you approve your artwork: 5 days in quieter periods and 5 to 7 when we are busy. Delivery is free on orders over £150 to the UK mainland, and orders under £150 have a delivery charge of £7.50 plus VAT.
